Backpacking in Yosemite Galleries

Yosemite High Passes, July 1-6, 2007 : A group of us did a 6-day loop in SE Yosemite, starting at the Quartz Mountain TH. We stayed at Moraine Meadow, Lower Ottoway Lake, Turner Lake, Rutherford Lake, and Lower Chain Lake. We went over Chiquito Pass and Merced Pass -- both tiny, then Red Peak Pass, Post Peak Pass, and Fernandez Pass. The views were incredible. So were the mosquitoes. A huge thanks to Geologyguy for putting together another great trip and to Clem for hiking in ahead of time and stashing beer for the last night.
