Desolation Wilderness, Upper Velma Lake, May 26-28, 2007

Some folks from the NorthCA_Hiking group headed up to Desolation Wilderness for Memorial Day weekend. We hiked the Bayview Trail to Upper Velma Lake, climbed Phipps Peak, and roamed cross country back to Upper Velma. Monday, we hiked out and had a scrumptious lunch alongside Lake Tahoe before the drive home. Great time!
